Wet, windy and misty conditions put paid to the ramblers intention to climb Slieve Meelmore.  But guided by our man in the Mournes an 8 mile spirited walk led to the highest point in Tollymore Forest.  Great views over Newcastle down to the sea and out over the lower Mournes were enjoyed by all.  The walkers returned to Omagh feeling they had a good stretch.  Thank you to Alan for weather updates, his knowledge of Tollymore and to himself and Judith for their hospitality.  Thanks also to our resident photographer Tricia, who undaunted by weather, still gets the best pictures.
