Walk Description – Grade C
The Walk on Sunday 17th March, St Patrick’s Day, will begin in Moville. Co. Donegal. Walkers will meet as usual in the lower Leisure Centre carpark and depart at 9.30a.m. From there travel to Derry, over the Foyle Bridge and on towards Moville. There is a St Patrick’s Day festival in Moville so we may have to follow parking instructions. We will walk from Moville to Greencastle and back, approximately 7 miles.
Lunch stop in Greencastle where there is a coffee shop and a pub. The walk is mainly along concrete paths with a short detour along the road. Walking shoes and boots. Walking poles if usually used.
