Sunday 11 March 2018: Lough Navar Forest Walk is a 7 mile loop walk circling three lakes, Meenameen Lough, Lough Achork and Lough Navar. Eighteen Ramblers enjoyed a 3 1/2 hour sheltered walk along forest roads, tracks and lough shore trails. A picnic lunch was taken beside the tranquil water of Lough Navar and a first primrose was spotted on a sheltered bank. Signs of spring are about! Derrygonnelly is approximately 4 miles from the forest park and the Ramblers partook of refreshments here on the homeward route.
